Özgür ÖZKAN graduated with Honors Degree from the English Language Teaching Department at Eastern Mediterranean University in 2006 and was awarded the BA with a Diploma Supplement (DS).

Over the course of his career, he served as an English teacher, department head, and educational administrator for 14 years at Turkish Education Association (TED) Schools. In 2018–2019, he successfully completed a Teacher Trainer certification program, further strengthening his expertise in teacher professional development.

Between 2011 and 2014, he was certified as a Cambridge Assessment English Speaking Examiner and conducted speaking examinations for candidates across Türkiye in the Young Learners English (YLE), KET (A2 Key), PET (B1 Preliminary), FCE (B2 First), and CAE (C1 Advanced) examinations.

From 2014 to 2017, he served as an Oxford AQA International GCSE Exams Officer, overseeing the administration and coordination of international examinations. He subsequently worked as a Cambridge IGCSE Secondary Stage 1 & Stage 2 Exams Officer between 2017 and 2018, managing examination processes in accordance with Cambridge International standards.

Since 2018, he has been serving as the Foreign Languages Coordinator at Eral Schools, where he leads the planning and implementation of foreign language curricula from preschool through high school. His responsibilities include teacher development, curriculum design, international program coordination, assessment and evaluation, and the administration of internationally recognized language examinations. His professional interests include educational leadership, teacher training, curriculum development, and international assessment systems.
